Shampooing your hair.
When we wash our hair we should also wash our scalp, the scalp is a source of sweat and grease. In the process of washing the scalp the lather produced should be enough for the hair throughout all its length.
Make sure that you wet your hair thoroughly with water before shampooing. Do not wring out excess water if you have long hair.(Long hair tends to be dry because the hair may be a number of years old and may have environmental and chemical damage.)Shampoo lathers better on wet hair and spreads more evenly. You will also notice less shampoo is needed to wash your hair. If you wet your hair properly beforehand and emulsify the shampoo in your palms before applying to your hair.
Wash with Luke warm water ,use gentle pressure to massage the scalp and the roots of your hair.
Leave conditioner in for 3 to 5 minutes.
Gently towel dry your hair and follow up with protect-ants.
